The Big Green closed the Deerfield Holiday Tournament with a dominant 52-32 win against Lawrenceville. Charlotte Coody ‘26 led Deerfield with 16 points, followed by Zariah Hargrove ‘27 who tallied 15 points. Anna Dyjach ‘24 led the Big Green to success by dominating the defensive boards. The Big Green fell to the Williston Northampton School 36-41 on Wednesday, January 17. Charlotte Cody ‘26 stepped up for Deerfield in the second half with putbacks and defensive rebounds. Deerfield Girls Varsity Hockey took the ice on Friday night at home against New Hampton. We had narrowly defeated them at the Cushing tournament, and knew that we would be in for a tight game. Playing our first regular-season matches of the year, Deerfield took the long road trip to Greenwich, CT on Saturday, emerging with a victory over Sacred Heart (2-0) but falling to BB&N (1-2).
