Boyden Library offers instruction sessions for class assignments and research projects that help students develop research skills in order to locate, evaluate, and effectively use information. With an emphasis on information literacy and bibliographic instruction, we work closely with teachers in order to tailor lessons so that they reflect the curriculum, support class objectives, and empower students for academic success.
Whatever the topic of study, an array of research tools are available to ensure student success and support research and instruction. These include electronic resources like databases and e-books, newspapers, citation management tools, print material, and library guides. Wherever a student is in the research process, librarians are available to provide tutorials and one on one consultations on how to navigate these resources.
