Welcome Deerfield Parents!

We want to extend a warm welcome to all families, new and returning!

In light of a challenging year, many in this community feel a sense of comfort in the traditions and rhythms of Deerfield life. We are eager to return to, celebrate, and discover those moments that define the Deerfield Experience as we begin a new academic year together.

On this site, you will find ways to be involved as a volunteer through the active Deerfield Parents Network  (DPN), upcoming parent events both on and off campus (usually a robust offering, however with the pandemic this year we are unable to host many events, but stay tuned for some exciting virtual programming!), log-in to DA Info where you can view your child’s class schedule, grades, and student comments, and ways to support Deerfield through a donation.

Please reach out with any questions you have.

Planning a Visit to Campus This Spring?

We are excited to welcome current families to campus during Spring Term! We have worked hard all year to create a safe and healthy environment for our students and employees. By allowing up to only four family members on a limited number of dates and times, we are helping to ensure everyone’s good health. Families are welcome to come visit with their student (not their student’s classmates or friends) and/or watch home athletics contests. Spectatorship applies only to home games on Deerfield’s campus; please refrain from attending games at other schools as part of Deerfield Athletics’ agreement with those schools.

In order for us to plan for the arrival of families  we ask that you please pre-register for your visit. We ask that you please read our Healthy Deerfield Campus Visit Rules.

The First Link Program

The First Link program is part of the Deerfield Parents Network geared towards building new relationships among parents within the Deerfield community. Over the years, it has become an important and valuable tradition.

The Deerfield Parents Network

The Deerfield Parents Network (DPN) was created almost a decade ago, in 2011, to enhance the partnerships among Deerfield parents and between parents and the Academy. As you know, schools no longer serve in loco parentis, “in the place of parents,” but rather a latere parentes, “alongside of parents,” and the goal of the Parents Network is to improve the Deerfield Experience for all students and families. All Deerfield parents and guardians are “automatically” members of the DPN.

Vidigami for Parents

Vidigami is a secure cloud-based photo management platform designed to give you a window into everything happening at Deerfield.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Deerfield Parents Network does not have a formal office. The network of parents, staff, and volunteers spans the globe.

Sending an email to dpn@deerfield.edu is a good first point of contact for general inquiries. We’ll help you get in touch with members to answer your questions or help you to get involved.

Important student dates can be found on the students bulletin calendar.
