Holmes Jacobs has informed us of the passing of his father, Travis Beal Jacobs ’54, 89, who died at his home in Bridport, VT, on September 16, surrounded by his loved ones. Click for the obituary.

Visual & performing arts teacher Tim Trelease met with former students and Deerfield alumni to discuss arts-related degree programs and jobs in NYC. It was a great opportunity to catch up and network.

My fifth novel has been released! Members of the Class of ’60 will recognize one of the characters in the book as a flamboyant Deerfield faculty member of our day.

A mini-reunion of the Class of 1973 met at the Mt. Washington Omni Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH. It was wonderful to see old friends.
After the reunion, a few of us had the idea to possibly adopt some folks into the class. Deerfield told us that this was okay.

Enjoying the Texas life and racing cars for fun these days. I’m here with my oldest son, Fred, who is a mechanical engineer at Oklahoma State, aspiring to be an F1 race car designer one day. If you are ever in Dallas, let me know.
My wife and I are retired teachers in Westford, MA. I have recently returned to the pool to swim 45 minutes a day or 6 miles per month. I want to thank Larry “Lala” Boyle for making me the swimmer I was then and am now.

A feature film I co-wrote and produced, A Spartan Dream, concluded its theatrical run in theaters in NYC, LA, SF, Chicago, and Detroit (it can be streamed now on AppleTV and Prime Video). And, I have a recurring role on a new HBO comedy series titled The Chair Company with Tim Robinson of SNL/

While enjoying an end-of-season breakfast with John Mills in our little berg here in Maine (South Bristol, population 1100), we turned around to see Frank Donnelly! Both John and Frank are in fine fettle!
