Deerfield Academy has a rich softball tradition and a dynamic team of student athletes who love the game. Deerfield won the league championship in 2000 and reached the finals in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Although the Big Green hasn’t made its way back to the finals in the past few years, the team is rebuilding and getting stronger every year. The team plays a highly competitive 14-16 game schedule against some of the top teams in New England, including Miss Porter’s, Choate, and Andover.
