Baseball’s Thomas & Skov Named CNEPSBL All-League

Deerfield varsity baseball teammates, David Thomas ’20 and Dylan Skov ’19, received Central New England Preparatory School Baseball League (CNEPSBL) All-League honors as voted by the league coaches at the conclusion of the 2019 spring season.

In 2019, David led the Big Green varsity baseball team with 19 hits, 10 RBIs and had an impressive 3.75 ERA on the mound.

In his lone season as a post-graduate student-athlete for the Big Green, Dylan hit .341 this season with 14 hits and 11 runs scored. Furthermore, he led the team in stolen bases, racking up a total of 11. On defense, Dylan made numerous plays at the short stop position.

This season, the Big Green posted an overall 10-9 record and 5-6 league record, the best season record since spring 2011 when the team posted a 13-5 record when they advanced to the post-season.
