“Go West young man, Go West…..” wrote Horace Greeley and many of the Great ’58 did just that. Pictured in these two photos taken recently in the San Francisco Bay Area are John Philipp, Dan Farthing, the east coast interloper Dave Knight and Harvey Hinman. The lovely ladies are (from left to right) Jean Knight, Diane Farthing and Peggy Hinman. A great time was had by all.
The second photo shows Knight and San Francisco citizen Bob Tyndall having lunch at the popular Perry’s on Union St. in SF. There was a lot of Deerfield reminiscing because the two classmates were also roommates for two consecutive years ….. JW House and Chapin Dormitory.
