I started work as a Vice President of Clinical Development at Audentes Therapeutics in San Francisco and feel like I am back in the 21st century with gene therapy drug development. After many years of set backs and regulatory hurdles, the field of gene and cell based therapies is beginning to show the promise of transformational medicine. Truly bench to bedside drug development as I envisioned as an undergraduate at Harvard. My wife, Kristin, and I are expecting a baby in August, 2018. This will be the ultimate step for my embrace of the 21st century.
