“It is with great sadness and reflection that I inform you and the Deerfield family of the passing of classmate Fletcher Bennett on Sunday. His obituary can be found online. Fletcher was a wonderful, sensitive, caring, funny man. Many classmates will remember his love of music and his dancing ability! He was elected Vice President of our class/ played varsity football and basketball. It is so unfortunate that he was unable to attend both our 50th and 55th reunions?! I, personally, am deeply saddened!” – John Walbridge ’68
