Two years ago I retired from a 42 year career in higher education. That career has taken me to Illinois, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Ohio, Michigan, Florida and, for the last 12 years, Utah. Our four children and 5 grandchildren live as far away as London and Hawaii. But since most of our extended family lives in the DC area, that’s where we have chosen to move, hopefully for the last time.
