2011 in Madrid

I wanted to send along this picture of Alfonso Velasco ’11 and I taken this summer.

The picture was taken in front of the “Palacio Real” in Madrid while standing on the Sabatini Gardens facing the palace.

I visited him for two weeks, which we spent traveling around the city and nearby towns such as Toldeo and the “Sierra de Guadarrama.” We also indulged in some amazing tapas restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.

This picture is a true testament of the wonderful friendship that arose from rooming together our junior year.
