Graduation is on the horizon and before sending off the class of 2019 this weekend, the Athletics Department along with coaches, college advisors, teammates, classmates and family members gathered on Wednesday, May 15 to congratulate 40 student-athletes on their achievement to committing to playing collegiate athletics next year.
The Athletics Department hosted ceremonies in November and February to celebrate 16 additional student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent to play collegiate athletics.
This year’s senior class includes 201 members and 56 members of this class will be continuing to pursue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Nearly 28% of the class of 2019 will be donning collegiate uniforms next year. These student-athletes will go on to compete at the NCAA DI, DII, and DIII levels joining many Deerfield classmates in the collegiate ranks.
