Baseball Team to Compete in the Post-Season Walker Tournament

The Deerfield varsity baseball team enters post-season play this afternoon in the Walker Tournament. In the opening game, the Big Green will have a short trip up the road to face the Northfield Mt. Hermon Hoggers for 4:30pm contest.

The Big Green hold the season advantage over the Hoggers, 2-0. The two team’s shared a home and away series this season and Deerfield was victorious, 9-7 at home on April 15th and 8-3 at NMH on May 8th.

The winner of this afternoon’s game will face the winner of today’s Choate vs. Cushing contest. If victorious, the next game will be played tomorrow at 1:30pm at Choate.
