Football Wins NEPSAC Danny Smith Bowl

On Saturday, the varsity football team defeated Belmont Hill, 27-14 to capture the inaugural NEPSAC Danny Smith Championship Bowl. The Big Green has now won its last three NEPSAC bowl games, taking home trophies in 2019 and 2021, against Milton Academy and Brunswick School, respectively.

Deerfield Excels at the Henley Royal Regatta!

For the second time in school history and the first time for the girls’ team, Deerfield participated in the Henley Royal Regatta, one of the most exciting rowing events of the year! An incredible celebration of the sport with amazing history and tradition, Henley draws crews from all over the world and across all age categories (there are events for high school, university, and elite rowers). This year, Deerfield entered crews into three different events: the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Trophy (Boys 8), the Prince Philip Challenge Trophy (Girls 8), and the Prince Albert Challenge Trophy (University Men’s 4+).  

Bryce Pang ‘22 Named All-American by USA Lacrosse

USA Lacrosse announced its 2022 high school All-Americans and award winners earlier this month. More than 500 high school boys’ lacrosse players nationwide were selected as All-Americans, a process overseen by area chairs and voted on by coaches in each geographic region. Congratulations to Bryce for making the list!

Deerfield Hockey Helps Lead Special Olympic Team to Victory

Special shoutout to the Deerfield hockey program for their work volunteering with Special Olympics for 15 years! This year, the team that DA students helped coach dominated the State tournament, winning all 4 games by a combined score of 33-6!

Sam Khalifa ’14 Rises to the Top

Sam Khalifa ’14, currently an undergraduate at Columbia University, claimed the 2017 Pool Trophy and the men’s individual national squash title over the weekend.
