Dominic Sessa to Play a Young Anthony Bourdain

The upcoming Cape Cod-set biopic film “Tony” has officially signed on actor Dominic Sessa ’22 to play the late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain…. Variety reported that Sessa will play a young Bourdain during a “life-changing experience working and living in Provincetown” set in 1976 alongside veteran actor Antonio Banderas in a currently undeclared role.

H. Rodgin Cohen ’61, P’99 Receives the 2025 Whitney North Seymour Award

S&C Senior Chair Rodge Cohen received the 2025 Whitney North Seymour Award at the Federal Bar Council’s Winter Bench and Bar Conference.

The award, established in 1987, recognizes Mr. Cohen’s outstanding public service by a private practitioner. The award is named in honor of the late Whitney North Seymour, a leading member of the bar who served as president of the American Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Legal Aid Society, and in countless other major positions of leadership at the bar and in the community.

Maya C. Delaney ’13 and Dana N. ‘Denley’ Delaney ’13 Receive Ashley Award

At School Meeting on April 5, Maya C. Delaney ’13 and Dana N. ‘Denley’ Delaney ’13 were presented with the Ashley Award for their work in ocean research and conservation. Named in honor of Tom Ashley, Class of 1911, the Ashley Award was created by the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association to recognize young Deerfield alumni/ae who demonstrate exemplary character and extraordinary devotion to a people, cause, or place. It honors those who can serve as an example for current students and their fellow alumni.
