Dixon McDonald ’07 and Latitude 35 Teammates Complete World’s Toughest Row

Mission complete! On January 17 at 16:13, Dixon McDonald ’07 and Latitude 35 teammates and friends, Jimmy Carroll, Todd Hooper, and Jono Mawson crossed the finish line of the 2020 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge race, referred to as the “World’s Toughest Row.” The team finished the challenge in third place overall with a time at sea of 36 days, five hours and ten minutes and rowed a total distance of 2705 NM, traveling west from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands; Spain to Nelson’s Dockyard, English Harbour, Antigua and Barbury.
