Special Class Schedule on April 19
On April 19, we will follow a Special Schedule that allows families to attend classes with their student(s). On this day, all six periods will meet for 35 minutes each with a 10-minute passing period. The schedule is as follows:
• Period 1: 8:30 – 9:05 am
• Period 2: 9:15 – 9:50 am
• Snacks available in the Dining Hall: 10 – 10:45 am
• Period 3: 10:40 – 11:15 am
• Period 4: 11:25 am – 12 pm
• Period 5: 12:10 – 12:45 pm
• Period 6: 12:55 – 1:30 pm
• Lunch available: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
The Special Schedule is also available on the Class Schedule Calendar (please look at April 19). Please note that when classes continue on Monday, April 22, Periods 1/2/3 will meet.
Class Day Bells on April 19
Class day bells will sound to mark the beginning and end of a period. A reminder bell will also sound at 8:25 am to remind students that the class day is about to begin. To not disrupt other events in session, a reminder bell will not sound before Period 3 begins (so please keep an eye on the time).
Lunch & Snack Schedule on April 19
Lunch will be available 11:30 am-2:30 pm. Please note that there is no lunch break in the middle of the class day. Students and families are encouraged to adhere to the following lunch schedule:
• Students with Period 4 free: Attend lunch with your guests at 11:30 am – 12 pm
• Students with Period 5 free: Attend lunch with your guests at 12:10 – 12:45 pm
• Students with Period 6 free: Attend lunch with your guests at 12:55 – 1:30 pm
• Students without Period 4, 5, or 6 free: Attend lunch with your guests between 1:30-2:30 pm
Students are encouraged to go to the 10-10:45am snack period in the Dining Hall, especially if they do not have Period 4, 5, or 6 free (and therefore will not have lunch until after classes end at 1:30 pm).
Cocurriculars on April 19
Unless your cocurricular supervisor/coach tells you differently, all cocurriculars will meet on April 19. Please note that the cocurricular period will begin at 3pm on this day. Please contact your cocurricular supervisor/coach if you have any questions about your cocurricular’s schedule on the 19th.
