| 11:00 am | The College Admissions Process in 2026 (Garonzik Auditorium) We are pleased to welcome James G. Nondorf, the University of Chicago’s Vice President for Enrollment and Student Advancement and Dean of College Admissions and Financial Aid, for a talk about today’s college admissions landscape. Drawing on his extensive experience leading one of the nation’s most selective admissions offices, Dean Nondorf will offer insights into current trends in college admissions, how colleges evaluate applicants, and what families should understand about the evolving process. The session will also focus on strategies for approaching the college search thoughtfully – helping students build balanced college lists, identify institutions that are strong academic and personal fits, and navigate the process with perspective and purpose. Parents will leave with a clearer understanding of how to support their students through a complex but exciting journey. | |
