This is a reminder that Academic Integrity Education sessions are happening TODAY, Thursday, August 31, from 6:45 – 7:45 pm. In these sessions, faculty will provide you with important information about plagiarism, proper collaboration, and internet sourcing. Academic Integrity is a crucial element of our school community, so make sure you attend your session and pay close attention. These sessions are required for ALL students, new and returning. Make sure you bring your laptop with you because you will need a device that can connect to the internet at the end of the session. Bring them to sit-down dinner to ensure you will arrive to the session on time.
Please attend the Academic Integrity Education session for your grade (ninth, tenth, junior, senior) & student status (new or returning student):
Thursday, August 31, 6:45 – 7:45pm (immediately following sit-down dinner)
• All ninth graders: Main School Building (MSB) Classrooms; 9th graders will meet in small groups, please use this list to find your location in the MSB, you should go to the location that corresponds with your name. Lists will also be posted in the MSB tonight.
• NEW tenth graders, NEW juniors, and NEW seniors (including PGs): Athletic Complex – Room 3120 – Upper-Level Studio 1 & Terrace
• All RETURNING tenth graders: Hess Center Concert Hall
• All RETURNING juniors: Koch Center Garonzik Auditorium
• All RETURNING seniors: Hess Center Auditorium
If you have a medical or religious conflict, that prevents you from attending this session, please contact Ms. White (hwhite@deerfield.edu) as soon as possible. Students who do not attend their session will be required to attend a make-up session.
