Famous for his 34 acclaimed films about U.S. history shot in his signature style, Ken Burns will be joining the Deerfield community for School Meeting on Wednesday, April 13. He will show clips from his brand-new documentary on Benjamin Franklin and will discuss his career as a filmmaker and public historian. The conversation will be moderated by Brian Hamilton, Chair of the History and Social Science Department, and Anne Duong, winner of Deerfield’s 2021 Bates Prize in History.
