Deerfield Academy’s lifeguard class will start up this Winter on Sunday, February 13, from 12-5 pm. Here is the syllabus. The class runs for five Sundays and has an optional waterfront certification for those wanting to lifeguard at lakes, ponds or oceans. If you are a current lifeguard and need a LG renewal, you need to only attend three classes. Anyone needing a CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer with First Aid certification can participate in the one-day class. If you have any questions, or would like to sign up, please email me.
