Deadline for Course Changes for Winter Term is Dec. 3

Students who wish to request a course change for Winter Term must discuss with their teacher, advisor, or a department chair. Course change request forms must be submitted by a Deerfield adult by Friday, Dec. 3. During the Winter Term course change period, students may request the following changes:

  • Level changes (e.g. MAT303 to MAT302)
  • Changing from a one-term course to a different one-term course (taking into account period availability and section size)
  • Dropping a sixth course
  • Adding a course that begins in Winter or Spring Term

Dropping a full-year or two-term fifth course (not including level changes) will be permitted only in exceptional circumstances as approved by the Academic Affairs Office.
