Students accepted into the University of Chicago Class of 2025 were asked to nominate an educator whose guidance has helped them along the path toward intellectual growth. Lina Al Samawi was selected from thousands of student submissions in recognition of high school educators who have positively impacted student lives.

Beta Sigma Boulé Foundation awarded a $4,000 scholarship to each young man selected as a 2021 Howard L. Edmonds Scholar. Nasir Barnes ’21 attends Morehouse College where he is studying to become a machine learning engineer.
