It was a back-and-forth game between the Big Green and the visiting Williston Wildcats. Deerfield scored at least 1 goal in each period and won the 2nd and 4th periods to secure the 1-goal victory at home.
Bailey Smith ’18, Madison Siegel ’17, and Sophie Opler ’19 each scored two goals to lead the goal scoring for the Big Green. Ellie Koschik ‘17 and Nikita Pelletier ‘20 each added a tally to the scoreboard.
In goal for the Big Green, Lucy Beimfohr ’17 made 10 saves on the day.
The water polo team returns to action today as they welcome Suffield for a 3pm contest. The Big Green will look to avenge their early season loss on the road versus the Tigers!
