On Saturday, the varsity golf team traveled to Newport, RI to participate in the annual Andover Invitational along with teams from Andover, Hotchkiss, Loomis, Exeter, Salisbury, Tabor and Taft. The Big Green accumulated a low winning score of 316 to capture the Andover Invitational Title.
Senior captain Will Lodge led the way for the Big Green scoring a 73 which was the lowest score on the day and earned Lodge the medalist award for the round.
Gunnar Moore ’25 scored a 76 and Clara Chae ’23 shot an 88. George Darling ’22 and Will Richards ’23 scored an 85 and 82 respectively to round out the scoring for the Big Green.
The Big Green continue to extend their perfect season record which includes eight wins.
The team returns to action on May 4 vs. neighboring NMH.
