We’re excited to share the news that Deerfield Swimming & Diving Alumni, Sydney Bluestein ’21, was recently named Student-Athlete of the Month at Amherst College. Congratulations, Sydney!

As a Sophomore diver at Amherst, Sydney earned NESCAC Diver of the Year honors after winning both of the two diving events at the NESCAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

At the NCAA Northeast/North Regional Championships, one of four regions nationwide in Division III, Bluestein finished second on both boards, earning a trip to the NCAA Division III National Championships, which will be held from March 15-18 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

While at Deerfield, Sydney claimed the title of New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Division I Diving Champion twice in her career.
