Boys Lacrosse Coach Chip Davis Wins his 400th Game

On Monday, March 25th, Boys Varsity Lacrosse had their home season opener vs. Noble & Greenough and longtime Head Coach Chip Davis won his 400th game with an 11-7 win. As the program’s Head Coach since 1990, Coach Davis has won at least 10 games 26 times in his 33 seasons with the Big Green. As a Coach, Chip’s been described as a “one-of-a-kind teacher, coach, mentor, and friend. He challenged me like I was never challenged before.”

Off the lacrosse field, Chip serves as Deerfield’s Dean of Admission and Financial Aid. He is a former member of the History Department and has also served as Director of Athletics until 2016.

Congrats to Coach Davis and best of luck in the remainder of the 2023 lacrosse season!

Go Big Green!
