Christian Reavis ’23 Wins UMass Boyden Award

On Sunday, April 2nd, the Western Mass Football Foundation dinner hosted at UMass Amherst honored Deerfield’s Christian Reavis with The Boyden Award. The Boyden Award is awarded by the Western Mass chapter of the National Football Foundation to the top prep school football scholar-athlete in Western Mass and takes into consideration academics, football, and community contributions. This award is named after our longtime Deerfield Head of School Dr. Frank Boyden and has been presented annually since 1962. The most recent Deerfield recipient was Jack Bill in 2018. Please join us in congratulating this year’s recipient, Christian Reavis!

According to Coach Barbato, Julius accepted the Boyden award for the top prep player in Western Mass and Chigozie Oge-Evans was honored as a first-team all New England player. Julius shared a great speech in front of a group of around 1,000 people.”
