This week, the girls JV volleyball team gave back to the local and greater community by supporting the Source To Sea Clean Up. The team was assigned a site on Lower Road in Greenfield/Deerfield that wasn’t able to be covered on the Source to Sea Clean Up big clean up day in September. Lower Road is a part of the watershed for the Deerfield River that flows right behind our campus. The girls had a good time, talked to a neighbor on Lower Rd, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and picked up a lot of garbage keeping it out of the watershed. They also enjoyed some treats at Clarkdale as an extra bonus!
As part of the Deerfield’s dedication to service; every co-curricular takes part in at least one opportunity of community service per term.
