Capella ’25, Lodge ’26 and Robertson ’26 are British Junior Open Bound!

Big Green squash team members are doing big things this fall.

Christian Capella ’25 earned the No. 1 ranking as a high school senior in the country! Now, he is officially #1 in the nation for boys U19s after a successful West Coast National Championship in San Francisco, CA last weekend. His performance in the finals match has also secured his sport to represent team USA at the British Junior Open in January.

Grace Lodge ’27 will return to the British Junior Open as part of Team USA in January. This will mark her fourth time being selected to compete for Team USA at the British Junior Open. Recently, Grace finished 11-12th at the CT JCT, and she placed 7th in the U19s as art of the US Team at the Egyptian Jr. Open in August.

Hart Robertson ’26 has qualified for the British Junior Open, as well! He will represent team USA and Deerfield at one of the world’s most prestigious tournaments in January 2025. Currently, Hart is ranked #7 in the country in U19s, and is the number #1 ranked high school junior in the US!
