Girls Varsity Squash Finish 11th at Nationals

The girls varsity squash team headed down to Philadelphia for high school nationals.  The squad went into the tournament in the “A” flight, the top 16 programs out of the 100+ girls teams at the tournament.

Congrats to the team on finishing the tournament in 11th place and 2-2 in four matches.  According to Coach Calhoun, the team’s losses were incredibly close and the girls played some excellent squash!

Round 1: 3-4 L to Winsor

Round 2: 6-1 W over Nobles

Round 3: 3-4 L to St. Paul’s

Round 4: 6-1 W over Milton

Alyssa Ho ’25 and Khadija Elhaddad ’26 went 4-0 in their matches on the weekend at #2 and #3 on the ladder!

Maeve Baker ’23 went 3-1 on the weekend at #1. She beat one of the top players in the country from Winsor on Friday 3-0 and almost pulled off an even bigger upset on Sunday against the top rated player at the tournament, losing 2-3 in a legendary match!
