Field Hockey Wins Fifth Straight at Exeter

On Saturday, the varsity field hockey team earned their fifth straight win of the season at Exeter, 5-0.

Deerfield put together a great team win at Exeter. Callia Ferraris ’23 found the back of the net first with Sage Piekarski ’23 netting a hat-trick (including a beautiful goal off a stroke) and Kate MacKenzie ’24 adding a goal as well.

Ella Davies ’24 and Julia Tamul ’25 anchored the defense, while Katie Bruno ’24 and Lauren Loh ’24 made some strong plays at midfield.

To start the season, the Big Green have defeated Berkshire (4-1), Pomfret (7-0), Hotchkiss (7-2), Milton (2-1 OT).

The Big Green will look to extend their winning streak this Wednesday, October 5 vs. NMH at 2:30pm.
