Eight Wrestlers Qualify for New England Championships

Wrestling team at Class A Champs_2-12-22

On Saturday, February 12, the Deerfield Wrestling team traveled to Exeter for the Class A Championships. At the Championships, eight Big Green wrestlers earned top-four finishes which earned these wrestlers another opportunity to compete at this weekend’s New England Championships.

Class A Championship Results:
Nathan Blaya ’25 – 3rd Place
Chad Ho ’22 – 3rd Place
Cooper Pertchik ’22 – 4th Place
Donovan Woods ’23 – 2nd Place
Matthew Fierro ’22 – 3rd Place
Hugo Nutting ’22 – 3rd Place
Matt Hickey ’22 – 2nd Place
Shogo O’Connor ’25 – 4th Place

These eight Deerfield wrestlers are set to continue their season this Saturday, February 19 at the New England Championships hosted by Deerfield.
