Girls Varsity Hockey: Ava Giroux ’26
Ava Giroux is our DOTW for her strong performance this past week against Cushing and Hotchkiss. She has been dominate in front of the net in the offensive zone, finding a way to get a touch on every puck that comes her way, resulting in two great tip-in goals. Ava leads with her excellent work ethic- she’s someone we can always count on to give 100% in every drill and every shift, and we’re so glad to see her hard work paying off on the scoresheet. With two big games left, we are looking forward to Ava’s continued net-front presence and positive energy to lead the way!

Girls Varsity Swimming & Diving: Gigi Selvig
Gigi Selvig is recognized as DAGVSD’s Door of the Week for her can-do attitude coupled with her big smile. Even in the face of tough sets and challenging intervals, Gigi commits herself to staying positive and getting the most out of every workout. She has significantly improved her times across several events this season as a result of her efforts. As a ninth grader, Gigi has inspired teammates in every class with her support and determination. We can’t wait to see her swim at New England’s!
