An exciting game day is ahead and the Big Green student-athletes need your support on the sidelines today to help them compete for victory! Field hockey welcomes Hotchkiss to the Pioneer Valley. The Big Green will look to avenge last year’s 0-2 road loss to the Bearcats. Both teams enter Saturday’s matchup with a perfect early season record. In their season opener the Bearcats defeated Ethel Walker 3-0 while, the Big Green sit at 2-0, with wins over Berkshire (6-1) and Pomfret (2-0).
The varsity football team will go head-to-head against Suffield on Jim Smith field in their second game of the 2018 season. Entering today’s game, both teams have one game under their belts. The Tigers defeated Kent School in their season home opener last Saturday, 35-22. In their season opener last Saturday, the Big Green defeated visiting Lawrenceville, 28-18.
