On Saturday, January 13th, the boys and girls varsity squash teams went undefeated at the Choate Tournament in Wallingford, CT. The girls team competed in the morning; they defeated Ethel Walker 7-0 and earned a 4-3 win over tournament host Choate. The boys took to the courts in the afternoon and were perfect against Choate and Salisbury to earn back-to-back 7-0 victories.
After Saturday’s victories, the boys improved to 6-2 this season and upgraded their record for the week to 3-0. Earlier in the week, the team defeated the Big Blue of Andover 5-2.
With Saturdays 2-wins the girls team remains undefeated this season posting a 6-0 record. To date, the team has earned wins against Hotchkiss, Milton, Groton, Nobles, Ethel Walker, and Choate posting an overall win-loss game record of 33-9.
The boys will return to the courts this Wednesday, January 24th at Westminster to face-off against Westminster and Millbrook. The girls squad will continue their road stint on Saturday, January 20th at Westminster School.
