  • Tyler Gardner began playing squash at Phillips Academy Andover. He went on to represent the London School of Economics as a team captain in 2003. Returning to the sport in 2013 as Head Coach of the girls’ varsity program at The Hotchkiss School, he helped lead the team to back-to-back Founders’ league titles while consistently placing the program in the top ten in the nation. Gardner has worked with players who have gone on to play for Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, UVA, Middlebury, Bates, and St. Lawrence. He has helped several players navigate the balance between the rigorous academic demands of an elite boarding school and the opportunity to represent Deerfield Academy in Junior Championship Tournaments and as members of Junior National Teams. He is a US Squash Level II coach and received his certification in 2019 after working closely with Luke Hammond and Hameed Ahmed of the Harvard coaching staff.
