Boys Basketball Takes Early Lead to Defeat Berkshire

Yesterday, the boys varsity basketball team took an early lead against visiting Berkshire School and never looked back, defeating the visiting Bears, 79-60.

The Big Green held a 10-point lead at half-time, 37-27. In the second half of the game, the Doors further extended their lead registering another 42 points to round out the games scoring.

Davis Mead ’22 led the Big Green with 20 points and Nick Peltekian ’22, Evan Boccia ’22 and Dimitri Mendoza ’22 each recorded 14 points. Wedner Cadet ’22 rounded out the team’s double digit scoring with 11 points.

The Big Green boys varsity basketball team returns to action against Taft on Wednesday, 2/9. Tip off is set for 3:45pm. Tune in watch the game on our livestream channel.
