Deerfield traveled to play GA at Trinity Saturday night. It was a beautiful night for a game and Deerfield had a fantastic first quarter and controlled the pace of play. GA regrouped though and put on the offensive pressure and ultimately scored 2 goals in the second quarter and one at the start of the 3rd to go up 3-0. The Big Green didn’t settle though and fought back. Lilly Oliver ’26 found the back of the net first on a tip from Ella Davies ’24 and Julia Tamul ’25 added a second goal a few minutes into the fourth quarter off a pass from Riley Harrington ’24. Deerfield put on the pressure for the rest of the game but unfortunately couldn’t capitalize to even the score. It was a well-played game by both teams, with strong effort by Katie Bruno ’24, Peyton Wierl ’26, Bailey Miller ’24, and Lila DeLuca ’24 for the Big Green. We look forward to going back to work on Monday to prepare for Williston.
