Deerfield cross country travelled to Concord, NH this past weekend to race on one of their favourite courses in the league. St. Paul’s put on a great tri meet, and Deerfield enjoyed the opportunity of running through the woods amidst the changing leaves. It was a tight race, with Deerfield losing to St. Paul’s 27-28, and beating Winsor 22-33. Although the Doors were down a few runners this week, the team worked together, with Skye Georgiadis ’25, Taylor Wilburn ’27, Nicole Lefavour ’27, and Ginger Bernstein ’25 forming a formidable pack to come in fourth through seventh. Several runners, like Campbell Fealy ’24 and Mia Senturk ’24 ran their first ever races for Deerfield, and many others got their best 5k time of the season so far. There were lots of individual accomplishments on this misty fall day, and the coaches are all extremely proud of all our runners today!
