The DA girls varsity soccer team faced a strong Loomis squad in Windsor, CT on a windy Saturday afternoon. With only three players in the back, Loomis sent numbers forward in droves and controlled the ball for the first ten minutes of the game but DA stayed structured defensively and were able to shut down anything in the defensive third. In response, Loomis took a shot from range just outside the eighteen yard box that found its way into the upper left hand corner of the goal and put the home team up 1-0. The home team found a second goal just before the half and took a 2-0 lead into halftime. DA tried to push back in the second half but ultimately fell 4-0.
