Deerfield faced off against a tireless Loomis team, battling the blustery weather to a 3-3 tie. The game play was competitive, with both teams seeing significant scoring opportunities. After goals from Annabelle Brennan ’23, Grace Honos ’22, and Taryn Boonpongmanee ’24, Deerfield led at the end of the first half 3-2. One unanswered goal from Loomis in the second half tied the score. Kathrine Margulis ’24 had a miraculous performance in net, making a number of critical saves to keep us in the game. This Wednesday, the girls have a much needed break from game play, and are excited to come back refreshed and stronger than ever this coming Saturday versus Exeter.
