Deerfield Varsity Girls Exit Postseason After Tight Match in Quarterfinals
The postseason effort ended with a nail biter of a grudge match with Hotchkiss. The team played some of the best tennis we’ve seen all year, and came up just one point short of the championship round. The squad has so much more than the postseason to be proud of this year, having put an undefeated regular season record in the history books.
The team bids farewell to four seniors– Sasha Hinckley, Catalina Llorente, Tori Waterfall, and Ashley Manning. These players have given so much to Deerfield’s tennis team and athletic program at large during their DA careers. Thank you for your efforts, fire, and good humor over the years. You will be missed.
