The boys J.V. hockey team started their 2018 with a solid 4-3 win against rival Salisbury School. On a frigid late Saturday afternoon at Eaglebrook these two teams competed well and the game was close for the entire 45 minutes of play.
Late in the third period Nicky Hay ’20 gave his team the lead for good getting assists from his linemates Austin ’19, and Aidan ’20 Philie.
Other goal scores on the day were Alton Machin ’20 Will Holland ’21, and Jacob Presnal ’18.
Alex Leong ’20 continued his strong play in net and Henry Gustafson ’20, Nate Baker ’19 Matt Gardner ’20, and Alex Weinman ’19 all played well in this tight defensive contests.
Next up the team will travel to NMH on Monday for a 4:30 match.
