Changing your Network Password from Off-Campus

Use this if you are off campus and you need to change your password. If you are using a Mac you will need to log off and back onto your Mac using a WIRED port on campus after you have changed yourpassword in Outlook Web Access (OWA).

  1. Log onto Outlook Web Access (OWA)
  2. Click on the OPTIONS link located in the upper right of the screen
  3. Click on the CHANGE PASSWORD link in the menu on the left and follow the instructions on the screen

Note: Please adhere to the Deerfield Academy password standards:
• At least 8 characters long • Contains both letters and numbers but no special characters or punctuation • Does not start with a number • Contains at least one capital letter • The username does not exist within the password • Must be changed at least once every 120 days • At least 3 characters are different within the password from the previous password • The password cannot be the same as any one of the previous three passwords
Note also that your account will be locked after 5 unsuccessful login attempts and you will not be able to change your password again for one day after a change.
