Visit to Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House

On May 7, Deerfield theater cocurricular members visited Orchard House, where Louisa May Alcott wrote the literary classic Little Women. Students learned about the Alcott family, the inspiration behind the novel, and what life was like during the 1800s. The theater cocurricular is looking forward to welcoming the Deerfield campus community into the world of the March family and Louisa May Alcott during our upcoming performances of Little Women May 23-27!
