To commemorate the May 19th death of Cuban nationalist, poet, philosopher, and national hero José Martí, the Deerfield Music Program presents an evening of music, poetry and Cuban culture, featuring excerpts from Misa Cubana by Cuban composer José María Vitier. The event features guest vocal soloists Camille Zamora, Fausto Miro, and Caitlin Felsman performing alongside the Deerfield Chorus, The Deerfield Chamber Orchestra, pianists from the Advanced Chamber Music class, and students from the Deerfield Spanish Language programs.
