Denim Day on April 26

On April 26, this Wednesday, Feminism Club encourages all Deerfield Students and Faculty to participate in Denim Day. Started by Peace Over Violence in 1999, Denim Day is a day where communities around the U.S. come together and wear denim to stand in solidarity with victims of sexual assault and to protest damaging attitudes surrounding sexual violence.

Note: The Rules and Expectations does not allow for the wearing of blue-colored denim (found under the dress code).
