Tanzania #2: Travel Daze

Trip leader Toby Emerson, shares the groups 32-hour journey to Tanzania.

Or better described as bus, plane, plane, plane and bus! Our wonderful group of scholars will be spared the chore of writing about a travel day for Mr. Pitcher’s blog assignments! I can handle this one; many thanks to parents, partners and the Center for Service and Global Citizenship (CSGC) for getting us to Tanzania. Specifically, I am writing from the domestic hub in Dar es Salaam. Our last flight is scheduled to leave at 10:20 PM (local time) for Mwanza, with an arrival at MainSprings sometime after midnight.

Our whole group is excited to end our travel day and a half, but we are even more excited to get to the school, and start our time on site.
