Emma ’23 is organizing a day of STEM exploration on Saturday, March 25, for local middle school girls. Students will learn about civil engineering and the engineering design process during the event by building balsa wood towers. They also will hear from female engineers about career paths and being a woman in STEM.
- The event will occur at Deerfield Academy in the Koch from 10 am – 3 pm.
- Lunch will be provided!
- Girls Discovering STEM is sponsored and supported by the National Academy of Engineering’s EngineerGirl Program.
